Estimates use global average food category factors and the quantity identified or assumed for an item. Origin, production and packaging can vary.

Missing quantities stay visible

An item count of 1 does not mean 1 kg. When a weight is absent, the app labels the quantity assumption used. Items without an identifiable food are not given a fabricated food estimate.
